Steps To Draw A Bansuri
You can even follow our video tutorial. We try to make our tutorial simple and sweet. You can see the short demo in the image below. And you can follow the stepwise instructions in detail below. Follow the steps below to easily draw bansuri step by step.

Draw Two Parallel Lines

We are starting by drawing inclined and parallel lines. Using scale or free hand draw two lines parallel to each other slightly inclined shown in the image above.
Make Cylinder

Now join the back of the flute by drawing the curve and on the other side draw another curve to show the open hole shape as in the image above. Now it looks like a pipe.
Draw Holes

Now draw a single circle to make a hole of bansuri at the top as in the image above. In this hole, we blew the air. Then draw three circles close to each other for making a hole as in the image above. Again draw three circles close to each other for making a hole of bansuri as in the image above.
Draw Strips

For giving a realistic look to the bansuri, draw two strips at the top, and behind of first hole draw another strip as shown in the image above. Again draw another strip to the bottom of the bansuri as shown in the image above.
Draw a Thread

Finally, we completed drawing bansuri and it looks so realistic. As we know there is a thread on krishna bansuri, so we gonna draw a thread in the top part flute as in the image above.
Coloring a Bansuri
After the drawing of a bansuri is completed we move forward with coloring the bansuri. For coloring, we had chosen some basic colors.
As bansuri is normally yellow in color we fill the yellow color to bansuri while coloring it. And we colored brown to the holes. After that, we colored orange color to the strip or the thread as in the image below. You can fill the color according to our wish too.
Color Details:
- Yellow
- Orange
- Brown
