Steps To Draw A Monkey
Follow the steps below to easily draw a monkey step by step.
Step 1
We are starting by drawing a circle like below in the image. You can even use a compass or any circular object to draw a circle.. ( Roughly )
Step 2
Now, draw the monkey’s body, draw a curved line for drawing the arms and also for the legs, shape it according to it. ( Roughly )
Step 3
Now, draw inside the head, (letter M) with a curved in the side of the letter (M), now after that curve it the line for the cheek of the monkey, and (U)like shape for the chin of the monkey as shown in the drawing below. ( Fairly )
Step 4
Similarly, now again draw a curved line for the head in the backside and draw two ears in right and left side as in the drawing. Again at the top of the head draw zig-zag lines for the hair of the monkey and also draw hair in the left ear, draw according to it. ( Fairly )
Step 5
Then, now for the hands part, first of all, draw a curved line for the shoulder in the same step which we have drawn roughly and after that curve it a bit and draw straight for the arms and zig-zag lines for the hand’s hair and draw hands with fingers as shown in the drawing below. ( Fairly )
Step 6
Similarly, now draw (letter M)like shape for drawing the belly of monkey and join in the end as in the drawing, Now draw left leg and curve it in the knee as in shown in the image and in the end draw toes as in shown in the image below. ( Fairly )
Step 7
Similarly, now draw the right leg, curve it in the knee as shown in the image and in the end draw toes as shown in the drawing below. And draw a long tail as shown in the drawing and in the end curve it, draw according to it. ( Fairly )
Step 8
Similarly, now erase the rough lines which we have drawn in earlier steps (Step 1 & 2).
Step 9
Then, now for the monkey face part, draw two eyes and under each curved line(eye) draw a small circle for the irises, and in the middle of each iris, draw a tiny circle and shade it in for the pupils. Again on the side of each pupil, draw two tiny circles for highlights. Above each eye, draw a short, curved line for the eyebrows.
Step 10
Lastly, now for the last part of drawing the monkey, draw a small curve line and upside down curve line for drawing the nose, again now for drawing a big curved line for the big cute laughing mouth and inside the mouth draw (letter M)like shape for the tongue of the monkey. Also draw inside the ear oval like shape, draw as drawn in the image below.
