Steps To Draw A Parrot
Let’s start our today’s tutorial on drawing a cute parrot for kids quickly. We try to make our tutorial simple and sweet. You can see the short demo in the image below. And you can follow the stepwise instructions in detail below. Follow the steps below to easily draw a parrot step by step.
1Draw Circle Roughly
We are starting by drawing the head of the parrot. Draw a circle using your free hand roughly as shown in the image above. We are using the pencil to draw the rough part as we will erase it in the future.
2Draw Parrot’s Body Roughly
Now draw the parrot’s body roughly as in the image above. Here we draw a pointed parrot’s tail with a bulky body roughly. We are using the pencil to draw the rough part as we will erase it in the future steps.
Now from the center of the circle draw a curve line using the rough lines to draw the body of the parrot as in the image above. For drawing fairly you can use a pen or marker. We are using a black marker for drawing a fair part and drawing an outline with a black marker is perfect for giving a realistic look.
4Draw Parrot’s Beak
Using the curve line draw the parrot’s beak as in the image above. Make a beak bulk at the lower and point at the upper part as in the image above. And also draw the parrot’s head using the reference rough lines that we draw earlier.
5Draw Chest Pert
Draw the front chest part of the parrot as in the image above. Here make sure you use the reference lines that we drew earlier and also don’t forget to match them with the back part of the parrot.
6Draw Parrot’s Wings
Now draw the pointed parrot’s wings as in the image above. Make sure you have to draw some texture inside of the wing so it looks realistic. Also, draw the rough wings near the wings which are pointed.
Now complete the wings using the rough lines that we draw in the previous step as in the image above. Make sure you have to draw some texture inside of the wing so it looks realistic.
8Draw Parrot’s Tail
Now draw the pointed and long parrot’s tail as in the image above. Using the references lines draw the pointed and long tail.
9Erase Rough Part
Then erase all the rough lines that we drew in earlier steps. As we drew those lines with the pencil it is easier to erase using the eraser.
10Draw Parrot’s Eye and Leg
Now for the finishing part, we gonna draw a black circular eye and a leg of the parrot with the pointed claw as in the image above.
Colouring a Parrot
After the drawing of a parrot is completed we move forward with coloring the parrot. For coloring, we had chosen some basic colours. As parrot is normally green in colour we fill green colour while colouring it. We coloured red to the beak of the parrot and brown to the legs of the parrot. You can fill color according to our wish too.
